Biodeathinvenice because the evening i started this i was living in berlin and had just come back from the kino arsenal where i had seen death in venice - up alone in our favourite seats at the back - watching tadzio in the sunset - it came back to me that i'd first swum on my back on just such an evening - in the shallow ripples of the lido beach - thunder breaking over the adriatic - many years ago
